Located on a prime spot, just steps away from the Puget Sound, Surf Ballard is known as Seattle’s premier surf and stand up paddle shop.

We have everything you need to take advantage of Washington’s unique waterways, whether you want to walk across the street and take a cruise on one of our stand up paddle boards or drive to the coast for a surf session.

We host a variety of surf related events, from surf movie nights with live music to art openings.  We now serve ice cream, coffee, juices, smoothies, and other tasty treats at in our food truck Winnebago out front.

Need a lesson before getting wet? The instructors at our Washington Surf Academy offer a full roster of one-of-a-kind stand up paddle lessons and surf camps—and our WASUP Yoga stand up paddle yoga classes were the first in the entire state.
